Additions to Buildings E (Auto Body Shop) & F (Auto Mechanics Shop)

Both buildings are of pre-engineered rigid steel frames. A steel framed roof extension was added to the existing cantilevered metal roof of Building E, as the ground floor under the new roof remained an open asphalt-paved area. A shed-roofed enclosed bay abutting the existing cmu exterior wall was added to Building F. The new roof was lower than the existing adjacent roof allowing framing to be supported at the face of the existing cmu wall. |
