John A. Martin, S.E.
Chairman of the Board
John A. “Jack” Martin established the firm of John A. Martin & Associates, Inc., in 1953, and is CEO of the Martin Associates Group of affiliated structural and civil engineering firms.
Jack Martin is a past President of the Structural Engineers Association of California, an organization dedicated to advancing the state-of-the-art of structural engineering, with heavy emphasis on the continual upgrading of codes to meet the changing needs of building design. Jack Martin is a recipient of the Alfred E. Lindau Award from the American Concrete Institute, “for his many years of leadership in advocating common sense and a practical approach to seismic design of reinforced concrete.”
